OpenWGA 7.3 - OpenWGA Concepts and Features

The lucene fulltext indexes the contents of the content stores of an OpenWGA installation in a way that allows querying it in a "fulltext" way, meaning that it is able to find out, which documents on a content store contain a certain word. The lucene index can be configured multiple ways in OpenWGA admin client, that are to be highlighted in the following chapters

• The fields to index and their index type can be determined per web app
  
• Handlers can be installed that are capable of parsing file attachments of special types for their text content so Lucene can index them
• Some advanced configuration options can be set for the whole server
