Connecting

The data source types are available on their respective database server types, being:

  • MySQL Database Server
  • HSQLDB Database Directory
  • PostgreSQL Database Server
  • Microsoft SQLServer
  • Oracle Database Server
  • IBM DB2 Database Server
So you first need to register the database server with OpenWGA before accessing the databases.

After choosing the type you will be asked for the database to connect to, just like when connecting an OpenWGA content store. Depending on the database platform you will be able to choose an existing database from a list or you must manually enter the name of the database you want to connect to.
